One of the biggest differences is flexibility. We don’t believe your event should fit into a cookie-cutter package. You’re welcome to choose your own licensed caterer, bartender, and vendors, decorate in a style that reflects your vision, and create an experience that feels personal. We host only one private event per day, so the property is yours to enjoy without sharing the space with anyone else.
We host a wide variety of celebrations, including birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, retirement parties, bridal and baby showers, corporate events, fundraisers, holiday parties, celebrations of life, and many other private and community events.
Absolutely! We encourage it. The best way to experience Whitehead Farms is to walk the property, explore the event spaces, and picture your celebration here. Tours are available by appointment, and we’d love the opportunity to answer your questions.
Your date is officially reserved once we receive your signed Venue Rental Agreement along with the non-refundable $500 Save-the-Date Retainer, which is applied toward your rental fee.
Yes. We host only one private event each day, giving you exclusive use of the property. You won’t be sharing the venue, parking, or event spaces with another celebration, allowing you and your guests to enjoy a more relaxed and personal experience.
Your rental includes exclusive use of the designated event areas during your rental period, the covered pole barn, spacious bar and lounge area, modern restrooms, scenic outdoor spaces, ample parking, accessible parking, and an on-site venue representative to assist with anything related to the property throughout your event.
We do our best to accommodate guests with mobility needs whenever possible. Guests may be dropped off close to the covered pole barn, and the pole barn, bar and lounge area, and restroom building all feature concrete flooring once you arrive.
Because Whitehead Farms is a working farm and outdoor venue, portions of the property include grass, gravel, and natural terrain, and our permanent restrooms are not ADA accessible. For some larger events, an ADA-accessible portable restroom may be provided by the event host.
If you or one of your guests has specific accessibility needs, we encourage you to contact us before booking or attending an event. We’ll gladly discuss the layout of the property and help determine whether our venue is the right fit for your needs.
Absolutely. One of our favorite things is seeing each event reflect the people celebrating it. Whether you’re planning something elegant, rustic, western, modern, vintage, boho, or completely one-of-a-kind, you’re welcome to personalize the space to fit your vision.
Yes! We encourage it. We simply ask that decorations follow our venue guidelines to help protect the property. Items such as glitter, plastic confetti, fireworks, sky lanterns, nails, screws, staples, and permanent adhesives are prohibited.
Absolutely! Unlike many venues, we don’t require you to use a specific caterer. You’re welcome to choose the licensed caterer, food truck, or food service provider that best fits your taste, budget, and vision.
Yes. You’re welcome to provide your own food or host a potluck-style meal. We simply ask that all food service and cleanup responsibilities outlined in our rental agreement are followed.
Yes! Food trucks are welcome and are a popular option for many events.
Yes. You may provide alcoholic beverages for your event. However, all alcohol must be served by a licensed and insured bartender or alcohol service provider. Self-service bars are not permitted.
No. While we’re happy to provide a list of trusted local professionals we’ve enjoyed working with, you’re free to choose the qualified vendors that best fit your event.
For many families, pets are part of the celebration too! Pre-approved pets are welcome with advance approval. Whether they’re posing for photos or greeting guests, we’d love to help make them part of your special day.
Florida weather can be unpredictable, but we’ve planned for that. Our covered pole barn serves as our primary weather backup location, allowing your celebration to continue comfortably while still enjoying the beauty of the farm.
Our standard rental period is from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. Event activities conclude by 10:00 p.m., with the final hour reserved for cleanup and vendor load-out.
We serve as your venue representative throughout your event and are available to assist with anything related to the property. While we do not provide event planning or day-of coordination, we’re happy to recommend experienced professionals who do.
Yes. Event Liability Insurance with a minimum of $1 million in coverage is required for all events. We’ll guide you through the process and provide the information you’ll need.
