Our History

For more than 65 years, Whitehead Farms has been a place where family, faith, hard work, and community have come together. Every chapter has helped shape the Whitehead Farms you see today.

1958

The Beginning
Whitehead Farms was established by the Whitehead family in Brooksville, Florida. What began as a working farm quickly became a place where family traditions were born and lifelong memories were made.

The Early Years

Growing Strong Roots
For decades, the farm was home to livestock, agriculture, and everyday life. Generations of the Whitehead family worked the land, cared for the animals, and built a legacy rooted in integrity, stewardship, and love for the outdoors.

A New Vision

Sharing the Farm with the Community
As the years passed, the Whitehead family saw an opportunity to preserve the beauty and history of the property by opening it to others.

Rather than allowing the land’s story to end, a new chapter began—one where people could come together to celebrate, connect, and create memories of their own.

The First Celebrations

Creating a Place to Gather
What was once a private family farm began welcoming guests for special events, private celebrations, and community gatherings.

Every event brought new friendships, laughter, and stories that became part of the farm’s continuing legacy.

Music Under the Stars

Bringing National Entertainment to Brooksville
Whitehead Farms quickly became known as one of Florida’s most unique outdoor concert venues, welcoming nationally recognized artists including Tracy Lawrence, Diamond Rio, William Michael Morgan, Craig Campbell, Ty Herndon, Neal McCoy, Mo Pitney, and The Voice contestants and finalists Angie Rey and Karen Waldrup and several others along with thousands of guests to experience live music beneath the open sky.

These concerts not only created unforgettable memories but also brought visitors, businesses, and nonprofits together while supporting the local community.

Love Stories Begin Here

Weddings at Whitehead Farms
Soon couples began choosing Whitehead Farms as the place to start their forever. Surrounded by majestic oak trees, wide-open pastures, breathtaking sunsets, and timeless Florida beauty, the farm became the backdrop for weddings filled with love, family, and unforgettable moments.

Today

Where Memories Become Traditions
More than six decades after it all began, Whitehead Farms continues to honor its heritage while looking toward the future.

Every wedding celebrated beneath the oaks…

We’re honored to welcome each guest not simply as a visitor, but as part of the Whitehead Farms family.
